1. Accepting these terms
By using Unhinged Weather, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. What the app provides
Unhinged Weather shows weather forecasts, rain timing, clothing and washing suggestions, optional commentary, widgets, notifications and related features. Features may change as the app develops.
3. Forecasts and official warnings
Official weather warnings are shown with their original wording and source. Humorous commentary is entertainment and is kept separate. Commentary is never a substitute for an official warning.
Weather data comes from third-party providers and may not match another weather app minute for minute. Widgets refresh when iOS allows and are not live radar.
4. Advice features
Clothing, washing, umbrella and similar suggestions are rules-based estimates. They are not professional meteorological, medical or safety advice. You remain responsible for how you dress, travel and dry laundry.
5. No account required
You can use the app without creating an account. You are responsible for access to your device and for any content you share from it.
6. Purchases
Unhinged Plus, if offered, is sold through the App Store. Prices, trials and renewal terms are shown before you buy. Apple processes payment. Subscriptions renew unless you cancel in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it unreasonably, or use it unlawfully. Do not treat commentary as a statement of fact about people, places or emergencies.
8. Intellectual property
The Unhinged Weather name, design, artwork, commentary library and software are protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a personal, limited right to use the app; they do not transfer ownership.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Forecasts depend on third-party weather services, your internet connection and Apple’s widget refresh schedule.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by relying on a forecast, ignoring an official warning, third-party outages, lost device data, or use contrary to these terms.
11. Ending use
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or respond to serious misuse.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
13. Changes and contact
