The app asked for location. Do I have to allow it?
No. Location is only requested if you tap “Use my location”. You can search for a town instead. Permission is when-in-use only, for the forecast.
The forecast looks different from another weather app
Unhinged Weather currently uses Open-Meteo. Other apps may use Apple Weather or another provider. Timing and rainfall amounts will not always match.
Are official warnings rewritten as jokes?
No. Official warnings are shown with their original wording and source. Any commentary sits separately underneath.
Why is my widget not updating every minute?
iOS decides when widgets refresh. The app does not promise a live radar. Use notifications for approaching rain or official warnings.
How do I cancel or restore Unhinged Plus?
Purchases go through Apple. Restore from Settings in the app. Cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
How do I delete my data?
There is no cloud account. Deleting the app removes preferences, saved locations and cached forecasts from that device. Email us if you have sent personal information to support.
